About.

Hello. I am originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area and graduated from The Ohio State University with a major in Strategic Communications and minor in Women’s Studies. For the past four years, I have been working for Ford’s Theatre where I manage the organization’s website, producing all in-house videos (theatrical trailers, directors interviews, etc.), chair the social media committee, design and set up all email campaigns, sit on the digital strategy committee and assist the graphics department with online ads and graphics.

I have also been involved in the local DC art community as a live painter at Saturday Night Rooftop Fusion hosted by Art Soriee (July to August 2014), artist showcase at RAW KALEIDOSCOPE in Washington, DC (June 2013) and participated in Artomatic in Washington, DC (June 2012).

As a contracted consultant, I work with Bridges of Understanding in Washington, DC where I co-designed organization’s new logo, built organization’s website on Squarespace and assisted with digital strategy, produced student testimonial video and promotional video, co-designed Youth Talk program logo and was hired as their annual conference’s photographer (2013). As an independent contractor, I have also worked with Rosie’s Theatre Kids in New York and QUILT Musical in New York.

Prior to working at Ford’s, I worked for Ms. magazine/Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) as the Website Editor where I managed Ms. magazine’s website, FMF’s websites, social networking sites and email campaigns. During my time at FMF, I lead the Ms. in the Classroom digital project, re-designed www.msmagazine.com and www.feministcampus.org, lead the rebranding and redesign of www.feminist.org, and stepped in for the IT Director during her five month maternity leave.
