Feminist Majority Foundation / Ms. Magazine
As the Web Editor/Designer for the Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) and Ms. magazine I applied my knowledge of HTML and CSS to create attractive email campaigns and co-managed six of the organizations websites. As a visual artist, my graphic design skills and education in marketing were used to create promotional materials, direct mail pieces, event websites, and to redesign existing sites. As a result of my efforts, the companies online fundraising increased (on average) an additional $20,000 per month during my time at the company.
I also had the pleasure of being a part of FMF’s rebranding in 2009, which I independently managed for four months in the absence of our IT Director. Another major achievement was creating a monthly digital subscription of the magazine for the Ms. in the Classroom.
